Highworth URC is part of a joint pastorate with Immanuel URC Swindon.

Highworth URC is a small, attractive church in the village of Highworth, a  country town situated on a hill about 6 miles from the centre of Swindon.  Morning Worship is conducted each Sunday, but there is no regular evening service. 

The church building is sited on the High Street which makes it in an ideal position to serve the local community.  Involvement with, and support  for  this local community is a high priority for this small fellowship.  They are particularly interested in The Willows Counselling Service, the elderly and a local nursery. 

What goes on throughout the year?

• Monthly services in a local residential home for the elderly
• Coffee mornings in aid of a local hospice
• Joint services with other local churches
• Musical events
• A harvest supper in the autumn
• A strawberries and cream supper event held outside in a member’s garden during the summer.   

Although Highworth URC is a small church, you are guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome should you visit.
